A video of the family of Donny Lohnes pleading for information about his murder has been released by the Nova Scotia RCMP. The 57-year-old dropped off an acquaintance in Bridgewater on October 25th, 2020. Hours later he was assaulted by three men at his home in Pine Grove. He woke up on his lawn suffering from serious injuries. He did not report the assault, nor did he seek medical help until it was too late, and he died from his injuries on November 1st. His death has been ruled a homicide. His case hasn’t been solved despite several pleas to the public from police. Lohne’s murder has been added to the Nova Scotia Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for the arrest and conviction of people responsible for certain cases. In the video released yesterday, his mother says they just need answers. If you have any information, call the RCMP.
